Receive Text Alerts from Jenks Public Schools
Jenks Public Schools is partnering with SchoolMessenger to better inform parents and guardians by activating text messaging for important alerts, announcements, and reminders.
To comply with FCC requirements and to protect against unsolicited text messages, parents/guardians listed in PowerSchool will receive a text message from SchoolMessenger on Oct. 25 that will request an “opt-in.”
The message parents/guardians will receive on October 25 will come from “short code” 67587 and will read similar to the following:
“Jenks Public Schools text notifications. Reply Y to subscribe or STOP to cancel. Msg&data rates may apply. Msg freq varies. Visit schoolmessenger.com/txt for info.”
If you do not reply, you will NOT receive any further text messages from JPS.
Parents are encouraged to check with their wireless carrier for information about their mobile service plan and any possible charges related to text messaging. Jenks Public Schools does not reimburse for any charges associated with sending or receiving text messages.
